About Don Thomas
Don Thomas was born a “military brat” at Fort Lee, VA and spent most of his younger life moving with military parents to the next assignment. Don learned from these formative experiences about excellence, leadership and “grit”, which is what he brings to his organizations. At a young age, he was passionate about technology, engineering and software, which has continued throughout his life. Don has always seen technology as just a new dialect or language that has been learned to move forward in new scenarios to accomplish task.
Don’s Professional Passions
His professional passions are twofold. The first passion is hyperautomation, a totality of an organizations automation efforts under one single encompassing umbrella using both Augmented Intelligence (AI) (analysis of historical data) and automation (rule-based action on real time data) technologies & tools. His second passion is strategic leadership, where he can guide and assist leaders and potential leaders express a strategic vision for their organization and motivate and help others to acquire that vision for success.
Don founded Innovative Sparq Enterprises (iSparq) to fill a gap in the automation space that has no clear formation. The automation space was approximately $1 billion in 2019 with an expected CAGR of 33.6% from 2020 to 2027, but studies show over 60% of automation projects fail. Don’s passion and goal is to educate organizations and help them determine their needs before selecting any vendor or software to maximize their potential for success.
